The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, also known as Ithra, is located in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. It was built by Saudi Aramco and inaugurated by King Salman bin Abdulaziz on December 1st 2017.
In collaboration with Snøhetta, Skeie worked on this project and was proud to sign the agreement with Saudi Aramco for the delivery of the chair model Skeie | Solist.
The impressive center includes an art and history museum, the children’s museum, library and archive, entrepreneurial and lifelong learning centres, and a performing arts and multimedia theatre.
